Anna Marrion

Anna joined Jonny as a Director of Chalk in 2022 bringing with her a wealth of experience in the Cultural and Education sectors particularly in sensitive and historic environments.

Prior to joining Chalk, Anna was an Associate at Walters & Cohen Architects where she delivered key projects such as the multi-award winning Lairdsland Primary School and The Kings School in Canterbury. It was here she discovered her passion for working within the heritage sector and has since gained considerable experience responding to historically complex sites.

Her conscientious approach combined with a meticulous attention to detail has led her architectural interests to lie in exploring materiality and craft and their role within the experience of space and atmosphere.

In her limited spare time she can be often found in the woods foraging with her children and looking for her dog Charlie (see below). She also likes making things, has been known to go wild swimming, and has a surprising but inconsistent talent at crazy golf.
